i don't want to bother you today, but i want to hear how it goes. it's an important day for you and if i was there i'd straighten your tie. i'd make sure you ate a good breakfast, not just saltines, your favorite go-to snack. i'd brush the creases out of your jacket and i'd make sure that your shirt was ironed, and your hair parted smartly. i'd tell you how amazing you are while holding your hands in mine. I'd make sure you smiled before showtime, and maybe even try to make you laugh off the nerves.i'm not there to bid you good luck, but i know you'll do really well.

i don't want to bother you today, so this is my way of wishing you good luck.
